Different Opinions

In our thinking groups we looked at a text that has different opinions. The issue was should we have prize giving? We looked at the vocabulary and found some definitions. We talked about our own opinions. We wrote down one reason we should have and one reason we shouldn't have prize giving.

Instrument Art

Here is my pastel art. We made the instrument cold, swirly colours,
and the background hot, spiky colours.

Poem - I Hear

I hear...

When I think of school

I hear

My friends talking,

people typing on their chrome books.

School bells ringing,

Instructors telling my mates what to do,

Chromebooks playing music.

People laughing, teachers shouting,

Classmates yelling “let's goooooo” like they achieved something.

And there, just outside the top window

As if it had never ceased to be.

But only needed listening to

A silent class doing read theory for twenty minutes, floating free.

Here is the original poem. I have written my own version.
